Our History
In 2001, nine graduates of Constance Lue's tea classes given at the historic Ferry Plantation in Virginia Beach formed the Historic Plantation Tea Society to continue their interest in tea and tea events. In 2004, the Historic Plantation Tea Society became the Virginia Tea Society, which continues to educate its members and community and promote afternoon tea, the art of gracious living and civility.
Membership
You are invited to join the Virginia Tea Society after successfully completing the Society's tea class or upon recommendation by a Society member in good standing.
